Lark & Bloom Library are excited to present our Ceilidh fundraiser! Awesome local band Belver will be bringing the tunes and calling the Ceilidh. We'll also be joined by local legends AFLO. the poet and Budd Beginnings.
All money raised will be split between two local grassroots campaigns:
Sara's fund is supporting a prospective doctoral student from Gaza. Sara has received a full scholarship to study at the University of Sussex, and has been evacuated to continental Europe. However, her scholarship does not cover the cost of bringing her small family (her partner and two children) to England. So that she is not separated from her family for extended periods, the fund aims to raise £18360 to cover the costs of her family joining her. This includes flights, NHS surcharges, visa costs and accommodation.
