About the event
From the Hurstpierpoint Parish Council:
There is no requirement to book for this event.
We will meet with Brighton Folk Choir at the memorial benches in the Millennium Garden from 5pm to sing to the old apple trees. The group will then process down St. Georges Lane to the Heritage Orchard in Hurst Meadows to sing to the new fruit trees and witness the ceremonial toast to the tree!
This is a family friendly event, but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
What should I wear?
This is an outdoor event and the weather may be wet or very cold. Please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the conditions, as part of the procession will be across open countryside in the Meadows.
